Coaching

Coaching offers space to think, reflect and work out what comes next.

My Approach

You might come to coaching because you are navigating change, facing a decision, stepping into a new role, feeling stuck, or simply wanting some dedicated space to think more clearly.

My role is not to give you the answers. I create a supportive and structured space where you can explore what matters, notice patterns, challenge assumptions and consider different possibilities.

My coaching style is reflective, supportive and practical. Some people think best through conversation; others find visual or creative approaches helpful. Depending on you and what you are exploring, I may draw on tools such as mapping, images, collage or LEGO® Serious Play®.

There is no expectation to work in any particular way - the approach is shaped around you.

I hold a Higher Diploma in Coaching and Coaching Psychology from University College Cork, alongside a PhD and more than two decades of experience in education, facilitation, professional learning and organisational development.

My Offerings

Individual Coaching

Individual coaching gives you dedicated time and space to focus on what matters to you. Sessions are shaped around your needs rather than following a fixed programme. Coaching may be useful if you are:

  • considering a career change or transition

  • stepping into a new role or responsibility

  • feeling stuck or uncertain about what comes next

  • working through a professional decision

  • exploring confidence, boundaries or professional identity

  • trying to clarify your priorities or direction

  • looking for space to reflect away from the pressures of everyday work

Group Coaching

I also work with small groups around shared areas of development, transition or professional practice.

Group coaching combines individual reflection with learning alongside others. Participants explore their own questions while also benefiting from the perspectives, experiences and insights within the group.

This can work particularly well for organisations, professional networks, leadership groups, educators or people navigating a similar period of change.

  • “The coaching sessions have had a genuinely positive impact on my confidence, self-awareness, and how I approach challenges. In particular, they’ve given me the courage and clarity to recognise that it may be the right time for me to start exploring new job opportunities.”

  • “The coaching sessions really helped me build the confidence to trust my own advice and speak up when I disagree in particularly challenging meetings. I also improved how I reflect and found ways to make it part of my routine.”

  • “The ability to reflect on my goals in a supportive space and to be encouraged from the perspective of a fellow coach who has parallel experiences to mine.”

Let’s Work Together

If you are considering coaching and would like to explore whether we might be a good fit, get in touch and tell me a little about what you are looking for.

I offer both online and face-to-face coaching.

Some people prefer the flexibility and convenience of meeting online, while others value being in the same physical space. We can choose the format that works best for you.
