ABOUT

Frequently Asked Questions

LEGO® Serious Play® is a facilitated method for thinking, communicating and problem-solving in a different way.

Using LEGO® bricks as a thinking and communication tool, the method helps people make ideas visible, explore complex questions and build shared understanding.

I use LEGO® Serious Play® across facilitator training, education, coaching, organisational development and bespoke workshop design.

Instead of relying only on discussion, participants build first and then explain the meaning of what they have created. This can help people surface ideas that are difficult to put into words, hear perspectives that might otherwise be missed, and engage more fully in the process.

Because everyone builds and everyone shares, the method can also create a more balanced and participatory conversation.

How I use LEGO® Serious Play®

Facilitator Training

I run intensive two-day LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator training in partnership with University College Cork’s Adult Continuing Education.

The training is practical and experiential. You will learn by taking part in the method, practising facilitation yourself, and designing ways to use LEGO® Serious Play® in your own professional context. It includes:

  • practical facilitation experience

  • a Certificate in the LSP Method

  • a starter LEGO® kit

  • training materials and resources

  • ongoing mentoring and access to a facilitator community

Workshops and Consultancy

I also design and facilitate bespoke LEGO® Serious Play® workshops for organisations, teams, educators and professional groups.

These sessions can be used to explore complex challenges, support collaboration, develop ideas, reflect on practice, build shared understanding or create space for more inclusive and meaningful discussion.

Each workshop is designed around your context rather than delivered as a fixed package.

If you have a particular challenge, team question or development goal in mind, get in touch and we can explore what might work.
